Unit Description:

Aims to build key academic skills for success at university. The unit is organised into two sections: understanding the university culture and yourself as a learner. It has two streams with some common lectures and readings. One stream focuses on Humanities and Social Sciences and the other on Physical and Life Sciences. It balances practical and theoretical knowledge to develop communication skills, confidence and effective strategies for university learning. The unit commences in week 3 and runs to week 12.
