School: School of Social Sciences and Humanities
Unit Description: A study of New Testament writings, their structure, themes and settings, with detailed exegesis including greater attention to the original Greek text and the option for assessment based on either the English or Greek text. Normally selected writings will be either Romans or from among the Gospels (2008: Gospel Traditions). This unit may be taken more than once, with different content.
Enrolment Options:

MURDOCH: Semester 2, External
THE577MURDOCH: Semester 2, Internal
MURDOCH: Semester 2, External
Contact Time: Lectures/seminars/tutorials: 3 hours per week.
Exclusions: Students who have successfully completed this unit or S424 Romans or S425 Gospel Traditions at 400-level may enrol in the parallel higher-level unit for credit and vice versa where the selected writings are different.
