THE477: Advanced New Testament Exegesis
A study of New Testament writings, their structure, themes and settings, with detailed exegesis including greater attention to the original Greek text and the option for assessment based on either the English or Greek text. Normally selected writings will be either Romans or from among the Gospels (2009: Paul's Letter to the Romans). This unit may be taken more than once, with different content.

| Prerequisites | One 200-level New Testament unit apart from S254/THE203 New Testament Greek II; for students choosing the Greek option, competence in Greek to the level of S254/THE203 New Testament Greek II.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.

| Exclusions | Students who have successfully completed this unit or S424 Romans or S425 Gospel Traditions at 400-level may enrol in the parallel higher-level unit for credit and vice versa where the selected writings are different.
