| Unit Description: | An introduction to the principal patterns of theological reflection on the moral dimension of life and their relation to moral philosophy. Particular attention will be given to the ideas of natural law, the will of God, conscience and responsibility, and to the ethical significance of faith, hope and love. Moral issues of continuing and current concern will be considered in the light of the different patterns of thought and ideas, especially in the tutorial sessions. |
