THE107: Thinking Theology

This unit introduces students to the foundations, scope and methodology of theology and its main areas of study: biblical, historical, systematic, and pastoral. It discusses how the theological disciplines relate to each other and to other disciplines. It provides a groundwork for further studies in theology. The unit examines the thinking of theology in Christian communities within history and society, by focusing on selected figures, contexts, and issues.
