| Unit Description: | The unit will explore the philosophical underpinnings of the environmental challenges humanity faces enlarging our understanding of its nature, scope and causes; to devise strategies for change which can enable human/nonhuman interactions to be more sustainable. The unit seeks to apply the principles of environmental ethics to specific environmental issues as well as having a particular focus on the ethics of development and urban and regional planning. |
