| Unit Description: | Rapid social and technological change and related processes, such as those of globalisation and individualisation, means we now seem less able to take our everyday lives for granted. This unit illustrates how the study of sociology, a discipline that is currently not well understood in our community, can enhance our ability to reflect upon and respond to these processes. |
