PSY570: Organisational Psychology: Practicum I

This unit focuses on practical application of organisational psychology to real organisational issues. The placements will provide experience in core areas of organisational psychology including recruitment and selection, performance management, conflict resolution, team development, training, organisational measurement and development, and human factors. Regular presentations from second year students will provide exposure to real organisational problems and second year placement process. The principal aim is to apply knowledge, experience and research from all aspects of scientific psychology to real organisational problems.

Contact Time	Practical placements: 8 months at 2 days per week or equivalent.
Prerequisites	MAppPsych, DPsych or MAppPsych/PhD; Enrolment in Postgraduate Diploma in Consultancy Psychology where candidate holds a four-year Psychology qualification or equivalent.
