PSY562: Psychological Assessment: Theory, Methodology and Application

Core unit for all MAppPsych, Combined MAppPsych/PhD and DPsych candidates. This unit covers the major theoretical, methodological and statistical issues in evidence-based psychological assessment. There is also a large practical component where expertise in psychological testing will be developed. The overall aim is to increase in-depth knowledge and competency of the psychological assessment task. The unit will demand a high degree of student application.

Prerequisites	MAppPsych, DPsych or MAppPsych/PhD; Enrolment in PgDipConsultPsych where candidate holds a four-year Psychology qualification or equivalent.
