PSY358: Psychology: Sensory Abilities and Disabilities
This unit explores how humans experience the world around them through senses and chiefly vision, audition, smell, taste, and proprioception; and how these biological, sensory inputs are used in the psychological process of perception. Students will examine: the physiological foundations of sensation and perception; psychophysical methods; phenomenology; deficiencies in sensor abilities; and issues related to the societal label of Disabilities.

| Exclusions | Students who have successfully completed PSY216 Psychology of Perception may not enrol in this unit for credit.
