PSY247: Psychology: Human Development

This unit examines human development from conception through to death. At each broad stage of the lifespan the biosocial, cognitive and psychosocial influences on the individual are studied and integrated to understand the developing person.

Lectures/tutorials/laboratories/seminars: 3 hours per week.

Prerequisites

PSY141 Introduction to Psychological Science OR PSY171 Introduction to Applications of Psychology OR PSY173 Introduction to Psychological Research Methods.

Exclusions

Students who have successfully completed PSY143 Introduction to Developmental Psychology may not enrol in this unit for credit.
