Unit Description: Awareness of the diversity of cultures and values, and advancements in technology, and our ability to transform the world are creating unprecedented freedom of choice for some, along with increasing inequalities and exploitation for others. This unit explores frameworks to analyse and respond to contemporary and perennial questions concerning how we should live, individually and together with other people, in light of diverse understandings of moral and political values, the good life, justice and virtue.
