| Unit Description: | This unit explores works from a range of genres including: theatre, film, digital art, music, painting, photography and contemporary performance. It questions the relationships between representation and power, race and visibility as well as the role of culture in informing how work is produced and received. Students will analyse works from a range of countries and may respond to this work either through the development of their own piece of critical writing, or by generating a creative response through performance. |
