| Unit Description: | This unit introduces students to a range of contemporary theoretical approaches to the study of literature, with a particular emphasis on postmodernism, post-structuralism and postcolonialism. An understanding of literary theory is developed through critical readings of several works of literature, including a number of contemporary texts. |
