EDU272: English and the Curriculum (Secondary)
This unit aims to prepare students for teaching English, with particular application to Western Australian secondary classrooms. The emphasis is on the construction of a teaching practice which integrates theory with practical strategies for effective learning. Attention is given to the application of the Curriculum Framework and student outcome statements for the English learning area.

| Prerequisites | Enrolment in a teacher education course [either BEd (Secondary) or BEd (Secondary) (Graduate) or GradDipEd (Primary) or GradDipEd (Secondary)], AND have successfully completed EDU101/EDU1011 Introduction to Teaching.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.
