Unit Description: This unit aims to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge to develop and enhance their leadership skills. By the completion of this unit students will have explored various issues in leadership, management and communication; had the opportunity to learn leadership skills and gain practical experience in applying these skills; and within a peer environment, had the opportunity of reflecting upon experience in a leadership role.
Enrolment Options:
MURDOCH: Summer, Internal
Contact Time: The intensive on-campus component will be the week of Monday 21 January to Friday 25th January and then again on Tuesday 29th January (due to Australia Day holiday). Deadline for assessment for the unit will be 15th February 2008.
Exclusions: Students who have successfully completed Special Topic in Arts: Leadership Development may not enrol in this unit for credit.
