CHI687: Rehabilitation and Management of Sports Injuries

Builds on undergraduate training as well as complementing clinical practice experience. The essential premise is to develop the knowledge base for progressing the patient's care beyond the acute phase and developing stability to an unstable body region. The student will also build upon their current understanding of the various neuromusculoskeletal (NMS) processes and be able to recognise the key components of each. This will develop diagnostic skills and injury interventive and preventive skills for the NMS systems.
