BIO541: Business Law in Investigations

This unit, designed for professionals working in investigations, provides an advanced understanding of commercial law of evidence in an applied investigative context. Students will cover structure and governance of companies; partnerships; bills of exchange; bankruptcy and sequestration; trusts; Criminal and Companies Code offences; jurisdiction; Internet offending; consumer law and investigations; prosecution of criminal cases in a commercial context.
